Photo: Mother of three caught with Cannbis at Lagos Airport

A 37-year-old mother of three, Ezeh Ifeoma Maureen (pictured above), has been arrested with substances suspected to be cannabis by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). 

According to The Nation, Maureen was caught at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) in  Ikeja, Lagos, during outward screening of China-bound Ethiopian Airlines’ passengers for allegedly attempting to smuggle 6.200 kilogrammes of dried weeds that tested positive for cannabis.

The agency’s Airport Commander, Mr. Hamza Umar, said the suspect told the officers that her bags contained vegetables and foodstuff. Continue...

Nigeria's Oldest Citizen in the Uk passes on

Pa Gabriel Lemoshe, Nigeria's oldest citizen living in the Uk is dead, he was 2 two months shy of clocking 100.

Organizers of his birthday now plan to hold a celebration of his life on March 15 instead of a birthday party which was supposed to be on same date. The Abeokuta-born Pa Lemoshe was one of the founding members of his native Egba United Society (EUS) in the UK.

Traditionally, the Queen of England writes a personal congratulatory letter to anyone who clocks 100 in the UK and Pa Lemoshe was on course to become the first Nigerian to receive such a letter but he unfortunately passed on. A life well spent. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

The documents which were releases earlier today where obtained last September from the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos. The injunction is  restraining him from carrying out activities such as; recording, releasing, distributing any composition, song, musical works or carrying out any activity as a recording or performing artist through or for the benefit of any person or organization other than YSG Entertainment Ltd or face the full wrath of the law.

Emeka Ike Secondary School Has Been Closed

The actor who diversified into the school business some few years ago and launched St Nicholas Colledge in the Magodo area of Lagos State which he was reported to have invested 200 million naira is not having a good time.

According to report by mastromedia, on Friday 24th January 2014, the school was shut down by the court after a court battle since its establishment in 2005. According to reports, the 90s lover boy was battling for ownership of the school property until he recently lost the case.

WTF: Murdered Peurto Rican Boxer shows Up at His WakeUp

 A 23 year old Peurto Rican  boxer, Christopher Rivera Amaro who was shot dead Jan 26th in the city of Santurce showed up six days latter for his wake up on 31st Jan when his family decided to prop his corpse in a simulated ring. (PIC ABOVE IS A CORPSE).

Mourners who came to pay their last respect found him posed in a ring, a yellow hood on his head, sunglasses over his eyes and blue boxing gloves on his hands.

Family said they want to remember him as a boxer and not as a victim of aagun violence. May His Soul Rest In Peace, until his survived by a wife,mother and son. More photos after the cut.
