Warri'us 2015 showcases upcoming musicians to compete in rounds for awards and for recognition in front of panel of judges led by Dede Mabiaku. Finalists will compete and perform live in concert along with other famous artists at Warri Stadium on 1st Oct. Winner receives N1m + record deal worth N5m, whist other runner ups receive recognition and consolation prizes.
Warri'us 2015 was launched on 13th March at Autoserve, Warri; supported by Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), FCMB, Fidelity Bank, PMAN, Warri Rebirth Initiative, etc. Also supported live in concert by celebrated Warri musicians, Erigga and Shuun Bebe.
Our USP is that Warri is perceived as the inspirational home for entertainment in Nigeria, and we're blending music talent hunt with grassroots live concert.
Panel of judges included: Mimi Okumagba, Oj Brown and Sunny Jonathan Obawumi. Presenters were Mr Phat and MC Cece. Audition continues today 4pm.
