Heaven won't fall, Jega Must Go -- Ayo Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described outbursts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the possible removal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega as "mere comedy," saying; "President Goodluck Jonathan can sack Jega if he wishes and if he does, heavens will not fall."
The governor, who said the APC should stop acting as if Nigeria belongs to the party, added that; "by turning themselves to advocates and defenders of the INEC chairman, the APC and its agents have shown that they have a deal with Jega to manipulate the elections and that the deal will be frustrated if he is asked to leave office.

FORBES releases 2015 rich list. 5 Nigereians on the List


The 2015 Forbes list of billionaires is now out. Five Nigerian made the cut - Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Folorunsho Alakija, Femi Otedola and Abdulsamad Rabiu. Orji Uzor Kalu and Tony Elumelu who made the list last year were dropped off the list this year.

Bill Gates is still the richest man in the world. Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is now the 16th richest man in the world. The youngest billionaire in the world is 24 year old Evan Spiegel, the co-founder of photo- messaging app, Snapchat. Aliko Dangote is the year's biggest loser, his fortune dropped to $14.7 billion from $25 billion last year. Read the rest after the cut..

Namibian President, Pohamba Wins $5m Mo Ibrahim Prize for Governance

The $5million World’s Most Valuable Individual Award for 2015 goes to the outgoing Namibian President Hifikepunye Pohamba. He grabbed  the Mo Ibrahim prize for governance in Africa for his hard work and loyalty to his citizens.

The $5m (£3.2m) award is given each year to an elected leader who governed well, raised living standards and then left office. But last year's award was the fourth in five years to have gone unclaimed.

Mr Pohamba, a former rebel who fought for his country's independence, has served two terms as Namibian president.

Panshak Zamani, better known by his stage name Ice Prince, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist and actor, yesterday organised a house party for his son, Jamal Zamani who turned 3 on March 1, 2015.

VJ Adams, Ruby Gyang and other close friends were also there to celebrate with Jamal at his father’s residence in Lekki. Apparently from the rappers post on his Instagram page, he almost couldn’t make it on time but better late than ever they say…
