Neysi began foaming at the mouth after reportedly suffering a panic attack. That's when her family called a local La Entrada priest to perform an exorcism because they thought she was possessed. Neysi lost consciousness and was pronounced dead by a local doctor ... but now her mother says she wasn't dead to begin with.
Neysi's mother, Maria Gutierrez, did an interview with Univision news show "Primer Impacto" saying they visited her daughter's grave a day after being laid to rest and heard sounds coming from the tomb -- "I heard banging, then I heard her voice. She was screaming for help."
Other visiting family members busted open the above ground concrete tomb and pulled her out ... they claim a window on her coffin was shattered and she had bruises on her hands from pounding on the coffin.
Once she was exhumed, Neysi was brought to a nearby hospital ... staff tried to revive her, but they eventually pronounced her clinically dead.
She was then reburied in her original tomb.
