On July 14, it was announced that the FG had blocked the transmission signals of the controversial radio station, which was operating from an unknown location.
Punch Newspapers reports that the radio channel had truly stopped transmitting from the FM 104.7 band since July, as stated by the FG.
Radio Biafra however, resumed transmission on Saturday, August 22, from the same 104.7 FM band, from which it transmitted before it went off air.
The report stated that listeners were urged to call in from various parts of the South-East, and from outside the country.
