Warri'US boss Mimi Okumagba declares 1 million Cash price for Talent Hunt Winner

Autoserve Entertainment Centre boss, Mitaire Mimi Okumagba has unveiled plans to hold a talent hunt show tagged Warri'US in the heart of Warri in Delta State on October 1, 2015.

In a press briefing on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, Okumagba revealed that the talent hunt show, which would focus largely on music competition, would reward its eventual winner with a sum of N1m alongside a music recording deal.

Scheduled to become an annual competition to grow talented residents of Warri, Okumagba revealed that his decision to start the competition to discover talents is as a result of the enormous talent imbued in several unprivileged individuals residing in Warri township.
Though all finalists, will also go home with consolation prizes, Okumagba disclosed that the berth of the show would further take the youths mind off crude oil wealth and focus on ways to harness their entertainment potentials.

"It is not in doubt that Warri has produced some of the leading entertainers in the country over the years," he began. "But I tell you, what you see, is less than 5 percent of the talent that abound in this city. Warri is a city that has all the tribes present and aspiring to live in harmony."
'Inside this city, raw entertainment talents abound. As I said earlier, the 5 percent we have seen are Ali Baba, I Go Dye, Dede Mabiaku, Omawumi, Gandoki, Harrysong, etc. yet, there is a crucial 95 percent who are talented but unable to get to the world stage and rather turning to crime. It is this largely volatile raw materials that we are poised to harness and present to the world.
'What we are also offering, is not just the show alone, we are providing opportunities for the finalists to be signed onto record labels, movies, big recordings as the case may be. We need the corporate organizations to come and see what we are doing here. The government too need to be here to see our unique way of preaching peace, harmony and organizational productivity among the youths," Okumagba expressed.
Warri'US is poised to become a platform that will discover, harness and showcase talents of several youth who have been relegated to the back seat due to the crudeness of their acts and lack of opportunities.
Mitaire 'Mimi' Okumagba became popular in the Warri entertainment scene after relocating to Nigeria from Houston Texas to kick of the Autoserve Entertainment Centre, which has become Warri town's most popular one stop entertainment center with a restaurant and open air bar.
