Venus Williams poses nude for ESPN’s annual Body Issue from their magazine where she talked about her autoimmune disorder and how it is has slowed her game.
Venus has Sjogren’s syndrome, a disease in which the body’s immune system attacks the body. She spoke about its challenges and how it leaves her fatigued from even just sitting down and forces her to make concessions in training.
Despite all these, Venus has still been winning and will be meeting her sister Serena at the US Open quarterfinals. More photos after the cut
